Condition the body | Train the Mind
Mental Health
We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. We know that mental health problems affect millions of us every year, with 1 in 4 people in the UK will suffering with a mental health issue. Our mental health will fluctuate in response to life events which is why it is so important to look at the wide range of factors that can impact our daily lives. The COVID-19 pandemic has really highlighted just how important it is that we all do as much as physically possible to safeguard our own mental health.
Fortunately, there are things we can all do to safeguard our mental health and the programmes and practices we offer at the studio combine a number of them into effective training methods to help promote good mental health as well as physical well-being. It is universally recognised that increased exercise coupled with practicing mindfulness techniques helps to promote the natural ‘happy chemicals’ our bodies produce namely, dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins.
